What is Roon music server?
Roon Server and Roon’s music player software are products of Roon Labs. Roon Core is an older term you may also see in discussions about home music servers. Explore the official Roon website for Roon itself.
What is Brimstone Core?
Brimstone is a separate music platform: a self-hosted Debian music server and a family of music-control experiences designed around your own library and hardware.

Brimstone Core is not an official Roon product, and it doesn’t need to be. It has its own approach to local collections, modern control screens and keeping existing Meridian equipment useful.
